After a slew of rumors surrounding his departure from Cam'ron's company, Juelz Santana has been hitting the studio hard in preparation of his comeback. In a recent interview with SOHH, the former Dipset affiliate spoke on his "plot to take over the internet," and his newly released mixtape with Skull Gang, "The Takeover."
"Our mixtape is like an album," the rapper said about the newly released "The Takeover." "We did over like 750,000 downloads the first week. So I want to thank everybody who's been supporting us."
Juelz also revealed his plans to release a video for every track on the popular mixtape and to re-release it with a DVD.
"As far as music it's a hostile takeover," he said. "I'm putting up videos. I'm doing a video for every song on the mixtape. Even songs that we just playing with we just shooting videos for. We just doing it man giving people what they need."
Juelz and his new crew recently received some negative feedback over a commercial for the mixtape featuring Skull Gang members engaged in a fraternity like ritual in a wooded area. But Juelz says he is brushing it all off as hate.
"I love all the hate," he told SOHH. "Keep being aggie, that's what I tell 'em. I'ma keep doing it."
The rapper said that his next move is the release of his own mixtape, "The Reagan Era." His third solo album "Born to Lose, Built to Win," is scheduled to hit stores sometime next year.
