Apparently, the state of Mississippi GAVE AWAY millions of dollars worth of household goods that were meant to go to local Katrina victims. [Watch video here (http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/07/07/boudreau.fema.katrina.giveaway.cnn%20wapt?iref=videosearch)]
They even gave some of the items to the local prison. JEEZ!
Their public excuse was that they knew there was a need, but didn't know there was a "great need."
WTF?! That's low as hell. I mean I am sure that they probably figured that a lot of Katrina victims probably turned to crime after their lives washed away,.. so what the hell.. why not give it to the prison right?! But what about the lil' old ladies that needed pots and pans? Or the guy that needed a coffee pot after he got hooked on joe after his baby momma drowned. This is crazy.
Props to CNN for following up on this story after they uncovered the same type of BS going on in Weezy's home state.
